TIGER WOODS: Tiger Woods is scheduled to make a debut in the Genesis Invitational in 2024.

February 7 (UPI) Tiger Woods confirmed on social media on Wednesday that he will play in the Genesis Invitational in 2024 as part of the PGA Tour.

Woods posted on X and Instagram that he was “excited to be a playing host next week.”

The Woods-hosted competition will take place in Pacific Palisades, California’s Riviera Country Club, which is close to Los Angeles, from February 15–18. In the 2023 event, he tied for 45th place.

The 48-year-old Woods hasn’t competed on the PGA Tour since the December 2023 Hero World Challenge. Last season, he participated in two more tournaments: the Genesis Invitational in February and the Masters in April.

The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, which is near Los Angeles, will host the Woods-hosted competition from February 15–18. He finished tied for 45th in the 2023 competition.

The Hero World Challenge in December 2023 marked the 48-year-old Woods’ last PGA Tour appearance. He competed in two more tournaments the previous season, the Genesis Invitational in February and the Masters in April.
