AFC: After a mistake in goalkeeping, Cristiano Ronaldo scores, sending Al Nassr to the AFC Champions League quarterfinals.

With a commanding win over Al Feiha, a fallen Saudi team, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his fifth goal in the AFC Champions League to help Al Nassr advance to the quarterfinals.

Following a 1-0 triumph in the away leg, which was secured by another goal from Ronaldo, Al Nassr emerged victorious 2-0 at home on Wednesday to wrap up a 3-0 overall triumph in the round of 16.

Otavio gave Al Nassr the lead in the seventeenth minute of play, and Ronaldo’s mistake in goalkeeping late in the second half allowed Al Nassr to win.

The 876th goal of Ronaldo’s career in all competitions came as he pursued following Marcelo Brozovic’s long pass forward.

Vladimir Stojkovic, the keeper for Al Feiha, received the pass before Ronaldo did, but he was unable to control it, allowing the ball to fly between his legs.

The ball was then kindly placed into the empty net by Ronaldo.

Al Nassr will now play Al Ain FC of the UAE Pro League in the quarterfinals.

Al Ain defeated FC Nasaf of the Uzbekistan Super League 2-1 overall to go to the round of eight.
