PREMIER LEAGUE: Newcastle is thinking about acquiring one of the newest top players in the Premier League.

After making it to the Champions League in their first season as a Saudi Arabian-owned team, Newcastle United is presently ranked eighth in the Premier League.

Even though Newcastle is still in the running to make it to Europe this season, fans are really disappointed with their current performance, which has even sparked suggestions that Eddie Howe may be replaced.

Newcastle would be better off adding more star power to their roster, especially in the attacking positions, than firing Howe, one of the most renowned managers in the league the previous season.

Pedro Neto, a right winger for Wolves, is a target for Newcastle this summer, according to a report from Craig Hope of the Daily Mail.

Many other elite Premier League teams, such as Arsenal and Tottenham, are interested in Neto. Neto, a highly anticipated young athlete, has emerged as one of the league’s top players for the 2023–2024 season.

As of this writing, Neto has contributed nine assists for Wolves this season, averaging 2.1 critical passes and 1.9 dribbles completed per game. He is currently among the Premier League’s most creative wingers.

Wolves will make sure to hold strong on a high price for their best player, especially with all the big clubs vying for him, therefore Newcastle would have to pay 60 million pounds for Neto.

But in the sense that the Magpies could really use a 24-year-old winger who can advance play and generate a lot of chances, he is worth it.

Neto would be of great assistance to Alexander Isak and together with Anthony Gordon, a young player who might be a breakout star in the 2023–24 season, form one of the strongest one-two punches on the wing in the Premier League. Gordon was formerly an Everton player.

The hunt to recruit Neto will intensify over the next several months, but if Newcastle is serious about acquiring the Portuguese international, they may have the greatest need of all the strong clubs participating.
